Beautiful frosted glass earrings with sparkling rhinestones, these beauties are marked P.G. on the back which could be Philipp Geier, a designer who produced in the early 20th century.
Each earring measures approximately 1.5" x 1" and the clip backs are solid and intact. The middle round rhinestone on one of these earrings s somewhat unseated in its finding but a jeweler could easily adjust the setting. Because of this defect we will rate this listingin fair vintage condition, but otherwise these two earrings are in good shape.

Frosted glass jewelry from Austria is highly regarded for its beautiful and intricate designs, and for its use of high-quality materials and craftsmanship. Frosted glass is a type of glass that has a matte finish, achieved through a process of etching or sandblasting. This gives the glass a soft, subtle look that is often used in jewelry to create a delicate, vintage-inspired aesthetic.

Austria has a rich history of glassmaking, and many of the country's most famous glassmakers, such as Loetz and Moser, created exquisite frosted glass pieces during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. These pieces often featured intricate designs, such as floral motifs, Art Nouveau-inspired patterns, and intricate filigree work. Some pieces also incorporated other materials, such as enamel, metal, or gemstones, to add depth and texture to the design.
