The clipbacks sit nicely on the ear lobe and the design is meant to adorn the entire ear.
Sometimes called "earrites" by the inventor, Marcel Boucher, these lovelies are signed "CARNEGIE" -- Hattie Carnegie was a fashion entrepreneur based in New York City from the 1920s to the 1950s.
